About the Streaming Festival

The Streaming Festival is an art event for independent artists exhibiting unconventional audio-visual art from all over the world.
This event takes place once a year.
In addition to this is the Permanent Video and Sound Art Collection. A collection that serves as an on-demand archive of artists screened at the festival. The collection is continously available. Each month a different program is composed with art from this collection and streamed on the festival website.

Video art Database

In previous editions of the festival we gathered information from artists about their video art and films and made this accessible to the public. Seeing how that information quickly expanded, and is still expanding, we realized a different approach to store and maintain the data would be imminent.
Hence, we decided to create the video art database.

To participate and to view the festival is completely free

There are no submission fees asked from artists, nor do visitors have to pay entrance tickets.
The festival is a non-profit project to encourage the understanding of audio visual art, and one of its main goals is to support emerging artists by offering the opportunity to exhibit their works on an unique platform.
The Streaming Festival is organized by the Isfth foundation based in The Hague, The Netherlands.
