Kunstkanaal is a platform for arts and culture on television - for national and international art programmes of the highest quality that supplement the programming of national Dutch television.
Kunstkanaal broadcasts productions on the fine arts, photography, video art, architecture, theatre, dance, music, culture, design, literature, fashion, animation and film. The startingpoint for our programming is to pay attention to the current cultural activities in the Netherlands and more specific the activities in Amsterdam, Rotterdam and The Hague.
The programmes on the arts and culture broadcast by Kunstkanaal are acquired by research on a national and international level. Besides researching its own database Kunstkanaal also tracks productions in co-operation with cultural institutions, artists and filmmakers.
