Mediamatic is a cultural institution in the PostCS building in Amsterdam. We do exhibitions, presentations, workshops and other activities in Amsterdam and internationally, all relating to new media and art.

Online databased film and Machinima are two of the focus points of Mediamatics programmes in 2006. Both feature in many of our programmes, for instance in the Interactive Film Lab at the Synch Festival in Athens, synch2006 in the workshop Interactive Dance Film at the Cinedans Festival in Amsterdam cinedans and in the Machinima workshop, about filmmaking in 3D realtime game environments. machinima
