Special program: NFTVM

Fris! (Fresh!) is the project for short films of the NFTVM. Aim of the project was to offer new film makers with a chance to make a short film without anybody watching over their shoulder and telling them "no, this or that aspect of your film doesn't generate a lot of viewers". The film makers were totally free to experiment with whatever form or story they liked. This resulted in some daring and beautiful shorts.

NFTVM is The organisation for young or new filmprofessionals in the Netherlands. We stimulate making movies, collaboration and organize meetings for filmmakers. Many projects kick off from the NFTVM website. NFTVM did a similar project as the Fresh! project, called Fresh Winds.
The films were presented at the Dutch Film Festival in Utrecht, October 2006.
