This years Streaming Festival has reached its goal and closes the curtain on its third edition.

Today at 1900hrs (GMT), we open the 3rd edition of the Streaming Festival. We are proud to announce that this edition contains a variety of artistic films that come from all over the world.

Although the internet is a place where you can view, experience and read an unlimited amount of diverse things, it’s far from being uniform or a consistent medium. Monitors, resolutions, connections, program versions, operating systems and browsers come in so many forms that problems can arise.

The Latin American contemporary art and especially the video-art has become more innovative and broader of conceptions. Video is a digital art form and, as such, both contemporary and universal; it is subject to global trends. To specifically characterise Latin-American video art it is not only related to religious conceptions, Indian cultures and internal conflicts.
