CultureTV!

What happens when you take the medium of traditional Television Broadcasting and combine it with the much less traditional medium of the Internet? Well, you’ll probably end up with a television set for the new millennium, you’ll definitely end up with something new and edgy, and you’re going to end up here at CultureTV! We’ve taken Brightcove, and we’re streaming it all out to you broadband users for free!

What can I expect to see?

Keepin’ it simple. CULTURETV! Delivers you the best mix of art, short artvideos, events, museum, galleries, artists and artnews.

Plus, you the viewer can soon submit shorts, cell phone films, dedications, and requests to interact with the network and influence what gets aired. Tell us what you want to see from our rapidly growing library of artvideos, short films and more. CULTURETV! will provide and develop dozens of programs to keep our viewers entertained and there’ll be more to come in the future.

Who?

CULTURETV is an initiative of the Target Foundation. Marjan van Mourik, former gallery-owner and founder of Target Foundation: "With CULTURETV we are meeting the current needs of the internet user and creative peoples. The content is available via internet 24/7".

At the same time we are creating a platform with interesting possibilities for artists, gallery-owners, art lovers a.o.

Not only they will be informed of the latest art news but also they can collaborate by submitting short videos with content for the channel.
