Ottica TV
Ottica TV was set up in 2008 as a platform for contemporary art based movie content. It is an offshoot of A2 Arts which is a South East London independant artist group that has been engaged in international artist exchanges on the internet since 1996
What you find on Ottica are the kind of movies you might encounter on a visit to an art gallery, as a commentary on contemporary culture or experimental narratives. These are presented in a mixed lineup and sequenced randomly every time the Player is opened.
The Channel content is provided by independant creators who retain copyright over their work. The content is by invitation or selection from open entry, and aims to represent a range of international artists working in this field.
Ottica TV composed a special program on the Streaming Festival in October 2009 called Anastrophic Monday
