VisualContainer is a no-profit Association with the aim to fill the absence of a qualified video art and new media art distributor within the Italian contemporary art environment. On such basis, we intend to act as a collection, investigation, promotion and distribution centre both Nationwide and internationally, focusing on artworks conceived by video artists at any stage of their career.

The above project is the result of the commitment carried out by art critic Giorgio Fedeli and video artist Alessandra Arnò, with the cooperation of professionals on the urge for giving visibility to emerging Italian video artists in Italy as well as abroad.

Of course, VisualContainer is also eager to further promote and help circulate artworks by those art operators, no matter if Italian or foreigners, who already have gained their “place in the sun” on the contemporary art scene.

On such basis, VisualContainer welcomes and favourites your contact in order to catalyse an ever-growing interest toward the Italian video art production as well as fruitful exchanges and cultural projects relevant to video operators at your disposal.

As a non-profit cultural association, VisualContainer takes advantage of a small group of founders' contribution and passion, taking care of the whole management of the association and the relevant promotion of the works in the international Art circuit.
As already explained, this is a non-profit Association pursuing the following aims:

• Distributing videoart works both on a national and international level
• Promoting all Artists included in the archive through events and videoart exhibitions
• Creating an active and lively network fostering exchanges between Italy and foreign Countries
• Creating an online archive of video works partly or entirely accessible to all members

VisualContainerTv is the first Web Tv entirely devoted to the international videoartworld.

A project by VisualContainer, the first videoart Italian distributor, the channel is welcoming group exhibitions and festivals under the care of artists and curators from all over the world.
VisualContainerTv is going to be the one and only screen to the contemporary videoart world in real time and available to all enthusiast and professional audience.
