Guidelines for registering an account

Is the registration free? Yes, it is free
  • Register, and make sure you fill in all fields.
  • You will receive a confirmation email, confirm the url given in that email to activate your account.
  • Each new registration needs to be verified (usually between 9.00 and 21.00hrs GMT). Until your account is verified, you can visit the global users area, after verification you are cleared for the section you registered for.

What is the difference between these sections?
Artists
Register for this section when you have been selected by the Streaming Festival. You should have received a confirmation email that says you have been selected.
Editors
Register for an editor account when you want to add, edit, update and manage the miscellaneous sections of the Streaming Festival.
Moderators (wiki)
Register for this section when you want to moderate the Streaming Festival Wiki.

Register for this section when you want to be able to offer feedback about films/artist, upload bumpers, write articles in the wiki or contact Streaming Festival artists.

Is this a social network?
It's in no way ment to be a social network. Though there are similarities between the functions/possibilities here and on social networks.

I did not receive a confirmation email!
Check your email clients junk settings if you did not receive a confirmation email from streamingfestival.com.
Alternatively, this can happen when your email address is considered invalid. Try to register again with another email address. If this does not work, please email us.

I can't login!
Login names and passwords are case sensitive. Thus: UseRnaME is not the same as Username. Check whether you tried to login with the correct name and password (as given in the confirmation email).
Consider the following requirements:
  • Java script needs to be enabled in your browser to login.
  • Cookies need to be enabled in your browser to login.
If that is not helping, try refreshing the cache of your browser.
If you still can't login; email us with your login name, so we can cross check what's going on.
