It is beautiful madness
This piece is hypnotic, I can’t put it any other way. It is also long. I have been put into a trance, and I can’t leave the video. I feel as though I may have passed away, and my life is flashing before my eyes.
The technique and style is consistent through out the whole video, this works really well design wise. It keeps me focused as well.
Images and more images, pass by seemingly chronologically, it is my life, but it’s not my life.
Some things are so familiar, but many are not, but yet, the images cause me to reflect and connect. Memories and feelings are evoked. I long to relive some, and others I wish had never happened.
Part of me wants to watch the video again and again, while other parts wish to abandon it forever, feeling that I only need to see it once. But of course I can not learn from only one viewing, so I decided to let it play a few times as a back drop to my studio work environment.
