Your film is about?
K is a video performance shot during the 2012 winter solstice.
It’s the first of three videos about colours and the perception of light.
Do you carefully plan the production process or do you work more intuitive?
We decided that K should have been performed only once, during the solstice time, without rehearsals or second chances. There was a high level of improvisation for both performer and cameras.
What is your next project about?
We are working on DROP, a work divided into several autonomous chapters. The project is part of our wider research on the dialectical relationship between the concept of Infinity and Control as a fundamental characteristic of human nature.
This year we completed the first chapter ("Kintsugi") and now we are on the next ones.
