What is Symptom about?
About dreaming and urban abstraction. The feeling of going home after work.
Do you have an educational background in art or film?
Yes, on Interior Design.
Could you explain how you work and what is important to you?
I have great pleasure on developing ideas. The most important thing in the end is how it tastes.
How does the title relate to the work, and how do you find a fitting title?
An easy task this time since I was inspired by a musical theme called S, although usually I look at the tittle as chantilly.
How important is sound in film, and if you use sounds, do you create your own or use existing?
It’s a musical video : ) More info about S and ocp (it’s author) in www.ocp.pt.vu
Nowadays everyone with the right equipment can create videoart, good, bad or ugly?
Is everyone with a pen a potential writer? Is that a problem?
What possibilities of the web are yet to be explored? Which dangers do you see ahead?
I believe that the Web itself is just warming up. Privacy is the aspect to be concerned with.
Where would you place your work; cinema or art. And what is the difference between those according to you?
Hmm... None. Video, moving images... And yes, there is a difference - a big one!
How important is the reaction to your film by the audience?
In the right context, very important.
What is your next project about?
About a woman by the window of a small hotel by the sea.
