Clayton Flynn - Entrance march (sketch, july 2011)

2:13, 2012, Video Art

Entrance March (Sketch, July 2011) is the latest product in a series of works addressing the issue of existence (Are we being or becoming?). Seeking to simultaneously enlighten and to confound the viewer by conjoining static geometry made mobile and manipulated Native American ritual chant, Entrance March creates a visual black hole that ensnares and entraps the eye, mind and spirit. Future works in the series will address the same issue through manipulated digital images, faux cartography and faux scientific/astronomical diagrams rendered in paper and precious metals/stones.
