Jef Van Der Heijden - Ongewijde aarde

Because his father committed suicide, he cannot be buried in consecrated ground. Louis begs the priest for the body to be moved; but the priest refuses, stating over my dead body. The priest then dies suddenly and Louis buries his father at night in the priests prepared grave.
During the first edition of the Streaming Festival in 2006 we premièred Dré Didderiëns documentary: Rode wijn en Natte voeten (Red wine and Wet feet). A twenty-minute-long portrait of filmmaker Jef van der Heijden who managed to make the first feature film that was legally prohibited in the Netherlands in 1967.
