As a follow up to previous project Intermission Prologue I, this video continues the exploration of memory as a confused state of consciousness. Although similar in the visual approach, Study for Intermission incorporates an element of narrative to the concept of memory. We can now see a person walking in a video piece that has two parts. The first one represents the adjusting mind of the person who remembers, and the second stands as both a clarification of the first part, and an embellished form of self-existence. In this sense, it also functions as a study of how memory and flashbacks have been represented throughout the history of audiovisual language.
